This unit is an American Maple base with a Brazilian Jatoba inlay.
Its close cousin … Jatoba with Maple inlay … recently on display at the Oo Gallery in Uptown Kingston. Working with the current Gallery theme of ‘sOot’ the Jatoba base was burned. It created an amazing glaze but unfortunately it was hard to photograph.
